Trip down memory lane: Ernst, Bobbie and the rest
Dear Ernst, dear Bobbie, you were my childhood icons. My heroes. You taught me that it's okay to be a softie. Bobbie with his bright yellow vest and iconic cap with black and white animal paws. Impulsive, completely crazy, and always cheerful. Ernst as the serious counterpart. Intelligent. The wise man who explains everything.
That the two would never be friends in real life didn't bother us at all. We also hated dirty aunts, doing homework, and piano lessons (bleh!). So it's time for a trip down memory lane this Monday. Childish or not, sometimes you just have to let go of your nostalgic self. My favorite classics from Ernst, Bobbie, and the rest. Can you still sing along?
The theme tune
Honestly: maybe the best intro ever made.
My rabbit
“It's a party, I have a rabbit. And that creature is all mine. Two long ears and a bouncy tail has my rabbit, my rabbit, how incredibly nice that is, my rabbit, my rabbit, I would love to be a rabbit myself.”
Softie
Hard track, G. Softies, everything. I still feel that beat. This is my jam.
We're making pancakes
Can't explain how much I'm suddenly looking forward to a bacon/apple version.
Ernst, Bobbie, even the rest: I'm looking forward to a reunion. Bet you guys will trend immediately on Spotify? I say: let's do it. Bring it on with that song, softies.
