Why we are already looking forward to The Roast
Okay okay, it's just a little longer to wait, but on December 10, Comedy Central will record a new The Roast from Dutch soil. And we are already rubbing our hands together, because Johnny de Mol is the object of desire for the spectacle.
All of the Netherlands loves Johnny, which is in his favor, but we can imagine that his colleagues will seize the opportunity to settle scores with the son-of, nephew-of, descendant-of. Just leave it to comedian Peter Pannekoek to go at it ruthlessly; he is already looking forward to roasting the so-called nice guy (his words, mind you). Johnny himself sees it all quite soberly: “I have had an incredibly beautiful and intense life. It is now time to come to terms and leave the past behind me. I am ready, the knives are sharpened.” Brave, brave. After Gordon and Giel Beelen, it is now the turn of the brand new dad and (apparently, says aunt Linda) newlywed Junior of the De Mol empire, who always seems to do exactly what he feels like doing. We can't wait. Is it Christmas yet?
