Chloé has already expanded her impressive perfume empire with a new addition: Chloé Nomade, the perfume for the woman whose home is the world. She is the butterfly who travels the world, meeting and inspiring. A woman who does not need her surroundings to form her identity. She travels, therefore she exists. And the constant in her life is her perfume.
For me, Chloé Nomade (which smells delightful and fits within the Chloé family with oak moss and mirabelle plum, carried by freesia, creating a floral fresh sensation) is more than a perfume. It is an experience, and here’s why.
1. The bottle
The shape is inspired by the Drew Bag, so just for that reason, it’s a celebration. If you don’t quite have the budget for it, you kill two birds with one stone. A bit of Drew and a lot of Nomade.
2. The colors
The founder of Chloé, Gaby Aghion, once said: “My colors come from Egypt.” Chloé has the most beautiful, natural colors, with this bottle consisting of a palette of perfect nudes. A nice detail is the iconic Chloé ribbon that is tied around the bottle in the form of a suede cord for this fragrance.
3. The muse
This perfume calls for a muse, and they couldn’t have found a more fitting example than actress Ariane Labed. Both French and born in Athens, and residing in London. The perfect nomad, in short.
4. Rajasthan as a shoot location
The campaign (I seriously typed ‘champagne’, sorry) was photographed in the Indian Rajasthan for the better desert feel. The photographer is New York artist Ryan McGinley, and you’ll indeed want to frame the photos and hang them on your wall.
5. The most beautiful sunset
The bottle is transparent, allowing the pink-beige perfume to be clearly seen. It reminds you of a sunset while traveling. The fun part is that as your bottle gets emptier, you see a beautiful horizon in it.
6. The most beautiful accessory
The bottle is so beautiful that it adorns your travel suitcase, gives your hotel room a personal touch, and of course gives all your insta-flatlays an incredible lift.
7. Perfect travel companion
Nomade is soft and delightful but not overpowering. It is therefore the perfect perfume to wear on a plane or in a restaurant. Everyone will find it pleasant, but no one will think it’s too much or too extravagant. It’s subtle and chic, just like you.
