‘Hooooooly shit’ was my first reaction when watching the video, which quickly turned into fear. Because how is it possible that a drunk fan is suddenly on stage between B and Jay? Not to take a selfie, or for a group hug, but full of aggression on a warpath.
What exactly happened? At the end of the concert, a drunk concertgoer managed to climb onto the stage and then went backstage after Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Other fans filmed the situation and in the videos, you can see multiple dancers running after the drunk fan. It even seems that one of the dancers manages to tackle the drunk fan after a significant struggle. How did Beyoncé and her husband react? Like professionals. They tried to act as if nothing was wrong, although the rest of the concert hall thought otherwise: chaosssss then.
According to TMZ, the police arrived in no time, but no report was filed against the fan. A spokesperson for Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On The Run II tour states that no one was injured during the incident, but that security will be stricter in the future. On its own…
