10 unnecessary ridiculous facts about America

It's either totally your thing or it's not. You find Americans boastful and exaggerated or you find them social and hospitable. You might cry over the large portions or you might find it funny. Guess which category I belong to. Anyway, I think everyone should have been to America at least once in their life. So, here they come, the 10 heavily unnecessary brain-filling tidbits about the land of the stars and stripes.
1. In Alabama, it is illegal to wear a false mustache. Now you're wondering why? I get it. The purpose of this law is to avoid getting the giggles in church. HAHAHA. Sorry.

3. Did you know that a third of all airports in the world are located in America?
4. And that about 66.7 percent of Americans suffer from obesity? Quite bizarre actually...
5. If it ever comes up as a question in Lotto Weekend Millionaires: the Statue of Liberty was transported to New York in 350 pieces and 214 crates.
6. Yikes. About four percent of death row inmates in America turn out to be innocent.
7. By the way, the American flag was designed by a 17-year-old boy for a school project. He got a meager six.
8. There is a small town called Pella (Iowa), where the Netherlands is somewhat recreated. Notably, there are the canals in Amsterdam style, the Jaarsma Bakery (where fresh rolls are made daily – Dutch rolls), and the Vermeer Mill: a gigantic Dutch windmill. How cozy!
9. Oh, and ladies, if you happen to be heading to Florida and you're not married, absolutely do not go skydiving on a Sunday. You will also end up behind bars. God bless America.
