A 24-hour food, shop, and sleep fest in Berlin. Sounds good, right? Annabelle and I were there yesterday and have compiled our favorite spots for you so you can enjoy just like us with a capital G. And speaking of 24 hours: treat yourself to an extra pleasure and just make it a long weekend, it's worth it in Berlin. And if you're still in doubt, here's the proof.

The nicest hotel to sleep in was S/O Berlin Das Stue
Something with the 5-Cinco by Paco Pérez restaurant awarded a Michelin star and a secret entrance to Zoo Berlin. The incredibly beautiful rooms, the king-size bed, the photogenic corners in and around the hotel, and the spa including a swimming pool.

To start your day with a very nice breakfast at House of Small Wonder
Maybe you already know House of Small Wonder from a city trip to New York, a place you wouldn't want to miss in Brooklyn for anything. Meanwhile, a second location of this hotspot has opened in yes: Berlin. Croissants with avocado, matcha cappuccino, fruit bowls, eggs in all shapes and sizes, and the most delicious cheesecake is what you would want to eat all at once here.

A coffee marathon at Prenzlauer Berg
A.k.a. welcome to hipster heaven. Especially the area around Kollwitzplatz offers you an abundance of trendy coffee shops, lunch hotspots, and the best place for a girls' night out. There is open-air karaoke in Mauerpark during the Sunday vintage market, so you understand: you're more than good here to soak up the Berlin culture.

Dinner at the Thai at Khwan
One of the many pop-up concepts in a raw, old building in Berlin is Khwan, a Thai-inspired barbecue restaurant where you definitely need to try the grilled oysters, Gaeng Hed (or mushroom soup), and the Banoffee Thai must order.

Strolling around at Friedrichshain
Especially at the RAW-Gelände, a former industrial site. There are a lot of nice coffee shops, an open-air cinema, terraces (especially on Simon-Dach-Straße), and on Sundays there is a vintage market, all surrounded by the coolest old buildings adorned with graffiti. Oh, and if you happen to wander around this neighborhood: Boxhagener Platz and Volkspark Friedrichshain are also tips tips tips.

Designer shopping at Kastanienallee
Also known by the locals as ‘Castingallee’, it is mainly known for its typical designer boutiques combined with trendy restaurants. And you understand: that's totally our thing with the final destination Prenzlauer Berg to quickly snap an Instagram photo between the pastel-colored buildings before we head home. Love you.

Okay okay okay, and just one more late-night snack at Goldies
Check. Those. Truffle. Fries. So. Fast. Possible. In. Life.
