Amsterdam gets its own champagne bar

moët champagne, people toasting. may that laughing stands and the bottles of moët

Give me December and I call for champagne. And to be completely honest, not just in this month, although I do get a bit thirstier for a good glass filled with bubbles when combined with a Christmas tree and festivities. Also tell me that there is a champagne bar in the city and I will ask you when we are going.

The name Moët & Chandon could actually be synonymous with the coolest parties. Just like the upcoming eight weeks, because in the bar of the Krasnapolsky they not only pop, but also pop up with The Champagne Room. I repeat: champagne room. When you say this, I envision the grandeur of the Krasnapolsky combined with so many bottles, flutes, and coupes that it makes you thirsty.

In The Champagne Room (really a nice name for a room), Moët & Chandon ten unique champagnes are served, which then end in a kind of love embrace with the amuses from Randy Karman, chef of The White Room. God, how divine it all is. The champagne bar in the Krasnapolsky opens on Friday, December 6, and remains open for eight (I’ll repeat that) delightful, long weeks. So is December too busy? Then you just go in January for a glass and an amuse. Or you go in December AND January, which is an even better idea. Cheers.
