Breaking: Wes and Yo are getting divorced

It had been in the air for quite some time, but it has just been confirmed by their management: Wesley and Yolanthe are separating after eight years of marriage.

She hadn't posted Wesley on her Instagram for a while because she didn't want to be associated with ‘wife of’. She also changed her name back to ‘Yolanthe Cabau’ instead of remaining Sneijder-Cabau. And that name is now going to change on a lot of other documents because the two are definitely separating.

What exactly the cause of the divorce is remains unknown. The two hope for respect and privacy from the outside.

Together they had a son: Xess Xava. Wesley also had a son from a previous marriage: Jessey.
