Neem me terug naar Bali

I sit with my toes in the sand and taste the sweet flavor of the bintang on my lips. Everyone is satisfied. One big happy bubble of life enjoyers, vacationers, and digital nomads. We sunbathe, chat, party, drink, eat, sleep, swim, and do everything on repeat. Home does not exist. We work to live. The little dogs on the beach at Canggu run after each other and the fire-red ball of the sun slowly plays hide and seek in the sea.
A few months ago I was in Bali. And yes, the island did something to me. Because every trip does something to you, shapes you more as a person. You learn from every trip. That’s why I see it as a personal goal to check off as many places I want to see in the next five years. Why order the same dish every time when there is so much to choose from the menu of the world? In our new magazine, I share all my travel tips for the Indonesian island. Oh, and I tell you about a second place that has captured my heart: Costa Rica. Give this country a movie title and ‘50 Shades of Green’ is the only one that fits. So many special animals, flora, fauna, and people: it changes you. Really.
So, if you are already thinking about vacation plans and carefully considering Bali or Costa Rica: I would love to tell you why you should pack your suitcase as fast as possible. The magazine with the same story is now on the shelf at your bookstore or Appie waiting. Shall I see you later at Schiphol?
