Celebrate your birthday like a Kardashian; the 5 most over the top B-day bashes

So I really hate celebrating my birthday. Of course, getting older is not my favorite thing, but... All. That. Planning. And do people even enjoy it? Are you celebrating at home or somewhere else? How do you handle the drinks? And snacks, because people naturally want to eat when they've had a few drinks. And the outfit. What do you wear? For me, my birthday is more about stress than about celebrating myself. And of course, you think fifteen minutes before it starts that no one will come. It used to be different, put on your invitation ‘I'm not saying what we're doing, but bring your swim gear. Afterward, you'll be taken home.’ Boom, instant success and everyone wants to come to your party. Unless you're named Kardashian, then every year is even better, bigger, and more extravagant. And that starts with them, of course. from year zero. No one remembers their first birthday, but if you're a Kardashian, even that is more elaborate than all my birthdays combined. So I've lined them up for you; the most over the top, extravagant, I-would-have-loved-to-be-there birthdays of the Kardashians. Feel free to take notes, who knows, there might be some useful inspiration for your B-day bash.
1. North West
Theme: Kidchella. When little North turned one, it had to be celebrated in style. And you don't do that with a cake from Hema and a circle talk. No, when you're a Kardashian, you just get your own festival. Move over, Coachella, Kidchella is where you should have been. With different music stages, attractions like a Ferris wheel, hairdressers to make you festival-ready, and for the occasion, Kylie Jenner sang a bit on the karaoke stage. North herself probably mostly slept, but luckily there are the photos for later.
2. Kim Kardashian
Theme: Preggo Kim Kardashian. Well, being birthday girl while pregnant might not be your favorite kind of birthday. A drink to toast your new age is often quite nice. But if you can make the rest look pregnant too, then there's much less to worry about. And that's why Kim's 35th birthday was all about Pregnant Kim, fake bellies were handed out, there were churros in abundance, and Kim could unapologetically indulge all her preggo cravings. And the guests too, because with a fake pregnant belly to wear, no one was holding back their bellies. Sounds delightful.

3. Stormi
Theme: Stormi World. Yes, those first birthdays are really a thing with the Kardashian-Jenners. Spare no expenses could also be the recurring theme at these parties, because oh boy. That birthday of Stormi; she got a whole amusement park called Stormi World. The entrance was a giant inflatable version of Stormi's mouth (of course, why not?), she even had her own gift shop, there was a carousel, a rainbow forest, and all the food had a Stormi theme. And then the gift. One-year-old Stormi got her very first Chanel bag. Because yes, even when you're one year old, that's apparently a must-have accessory. No jealousy by the way, of course...

4. Kylie Jenner
Theme: Barbie. The youngest Jenner, Kylie, turned 21 and that's an extra special age in America, because then you can finally toast with champagne on your own birthday. Kylie celebrated that in Barbie theme, which mainly meant that Kylie showed up in a cotton candy pink outfit. The rented club had many murals of Kylie and the bartenders wore shirts with the Forbes cover where Kylie was announced as the first ‘selfmade millionaire’ Yes, yes, she says theme Barbie. More like theme Kylie Jenner. That is a recurring theme by the way. They say no one loves Kanye as much as Kanye, but I believe that applies to the whole family.

Theme: none. I just said ‘the whole family’, but my last statement doesn't apply to Kendall. She might not be into themes, because there aren't any at her last B-day bashes. When she turned 21, she first rented the restaurant Catch in West Hollywood, and celebrated not one night but a whole weekend. Look, that's more my style. And that's why she deserves to be last but not least on this list. Her entourage is also the best every year, I think, even rivaling the Met Gala. Selena Gomez, Hailey Baldwin (though I'm curious how those two got along), Gigi and Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and of course all her sisters. Also, Kendall's birthday parties are hardly found on Instagram; no photos and only a sporadic Story here and there. I can only conclude that a lot happens there that isn't Instagram-approved. And I would really love to be there once.
