Everything you want to know about Narcos: Mexico season 2

Yesterday I told you about the top 10 most viewed Netflix and I already mentioned that a number of titles were missing from this list (and some surprised me that they were even in it). Well, I can add another one today, because Narcos: Mexico was also not in it. How come? Season 1 came out last November, and I thought it was really good, you know. Of course, the lead actor Diego Luna contributes to that a little bit. By the way, did anyone else see him for the first time in Dirty Dancing 2? If you haven't seen it: you want this. I honestly like it more than part 1. Oh yes, I said it.
But anyway, back to the drugs, cartels, and crime. Narcos: Mexico then. Very nonchalantly, actor José María Yazpik revealed yesterday on his Instagram when season 2 finally comes out. Really very nonchalantly, he was responding to a follower who asked when that second season was coming. ‘Febrero’ was his answer, and my Spanish teacher and DuoLingo app can be proud that I understood this without Google Translate. February then, si señor.
Watch out if you haven't seen season one yet: here come the spoilers. In Narcos: Mexico, we no longer found ourselves in South America but — surprise — in Mexico and we follow criminal Felix Gallardo. So that's a real guy, I didn't know him before, but he's not exactly a sweetheart. Well, he makes Klaas Bruinsma look like an exemplary citizen. At the end of season one, it became clear that the narrator is agent Walt Breslin, who will play a bigger role in season 2.
Kiki Camarena unfortunately did not survive the first season, and we will also feel the aftermath of his death in the second season. Just a point of criticism: this second season was already announced on Twitter in December 2018. It is now October, Netflix. Is it not going well? Maybe let us wait a little less long next time. Yes, thank you.
Netflix itself, by the way, does not want to confirm the final date yet. Who knows, they might not be happy that this José María Yazpik has thrown the release month online. Anyway, I believe things don't always go smoothly there: the release of the latest trailer of The Crown was also not planned. Netflix Japan uploaded it online without consultation, after which the damage was already done, of course. Can that also happen with this trailer, please?
