Unfortunately, I don't have a large circle of friends getting married, but the weddings that do take place feel magical to me: a day when all your loved ones come together to celebrate the love between two people. Last weekend, my dear school friend got married, and from start to finish, I felt that magic of love again. Secretly, I also reminisced about our own wedding: that perfect place in Italy, all our loved ones who were present and wanted to celebrate the ultimate party of love with us, the beautiful dress from Bloomfeld, my dream cake from La Durée, and the moment when we, with a group (me in a dress!!!), jumped into the pool at the end of the evening. Right after that weekend, we decided to renew our vows after five years, and that will be in two years: maybe I should start saving up...

Every season, it's a fixed ritual: my best friend and I don't eat anything the whole morning and afternoon so we can fully indulge during the seasonal high tea at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. When you walk in, you immediately feel like a princess, but the moment you take a seat in the Peacock Alley, it feels wonderfully homely, and you can easily chat for about three hours. And that's not so strange, because the high tea consists of so many delicious savory and sweet bites that you need that time to taste everything properly. This autumn, the high tea is fully inspired by the collections of fashion designers Viktor & Rolf. From the iconic Flowerbomb perfume to the dresses with bites taken out: everything is captured in small, edible works of art. Maybe I'll go twice this season!
This is the kind of collection I've been looking forward to all season: the H&M Studio collection. Funny enough, my items from these previous collections always survive the KonMari round: they are super fashionable, yet timeless. With a beautiful campaign shot in New York, the new winter collection consists of delicious comfy items that you want to wear every day of this season. My favorite: this long dress, where my little belly can grow comfortably. The collection is now available online, but be quick: there are quite a few competitors, and a large part is often sold out quickly. I've already made my move, at least.
