In the category of rich stinkers: the most expensive breakfasts

Glorifyingly looking at the lives of the rich and famous: we all do it. I hope. Otherwise, I’m the only one with the sick urge to always look at things she can’t afford. No, right? No, you do too. Nice.
With today's special: ridiculously expensive breakfast dishes that make your inner Blair Waldorf jump for joy. These decadent restaurants have taken the morning meal to a whole new level.
1. The next level pancake (Opus One, Manchester)
I mean: a pancake with maple syrup, banana slices, or Nutella is so 2018. If you really want to show off your cash, you order the pancake cake from chef Matthew Downes. Created with a layer of lobster, caviar, and truffles, topped with Dom Pérignon Rose hollandaise sauce. A bit, uh, intense for the first dish of the day…

How much does that cost? 1,330 dollars.
2. Bagel & Beans, eat your heart out (Westin Hotel, New York)
More of a bagel kinda person? That works too. If you happen to be near New York: chef Frank Tujague is known for his exclusive bagels. With a thick dollop of white truffle cream cheese, goji-infused Riesling jelly, and gold leaf.

How much does that cost? 1,000 dollars.
3. The ‘Zillion Dollar’ Lobster Frittata (Norma’s, New York City)
We're talking about eggs, dear people. Together with yogurt, perhaps the cheapest breakfast dish you can think of. But not if you go to Norma’s. Their luxury frittata is made with a pound of lobster and a hefty dollop of caviar.

How much does that cost? 1,000 dollars (but they’re not difficult at Norma’s, for 100 dollars you can also order a smaller version).
So, who’s coming with me?
