Lifegoals: Utrecht gets a Japanese karaoke bar
All Utrechters gather, time for a butt dance. Cranes with glitter on the left and hula-hooping sushi rolls on the right. Duke of Tokyo is coming to our city. I repeat: Duke of Tokyo. You know, the infamous Japanese karaoke bar from Amsterdam where I (and many others) shamelessly belted out tunes until the early hours. The plan is to transform two vacant wharf cellars in the Ganzenmarkt Tunnel (on the Oudegracht) into a karaoke bar with private booths. Think light and advertising boards in the Shinjuku booth, cuteness overload in the Harajuku booth, and of course a whole range of Japanese beers, signature cocktails, and sake.
