Mind blowing: two very important facts about Stranger Things season 4

I wrote about it earlier: ‘Everything you want to know about Stranger Things 4’. The fourth season would likely take place outside the familiar Hawkins and the entire series would consist of four or five parts. Good to know of course, but we didn't get answers to the most important questions back then. And rampampampam: now we do. I have two mind-blowing facts about the new season for you. Something with Eleven totally going down the wrong path and Hopper still being alive (!). And the proof? I've gathered that for you below. Here it comes.

Eleven is the bad guy

These days, there’s a bizarre theory going around that Eleven will be the villain of the new season. It would all start with the scene in the mall (in season 3) where the Mind Flayer grabs Eleven by her leg and a deep wound forms. The creature stays in her leg for a while, which could mean that El has been infected by the Mind Flayer. And as we saw earlier with both Mike and Billy, the Mind Flayer could totally control someone he has infected, which would mean the same could happen to Eleven. Oh, and that could mean there’s still a gate to the Upside Down and that there’s still a Demodog roaming around Hawkins. Told you: a bizarre theory…

Furthermore, Stranger Things fans are totally captivated by a shot from the last episode of the final season where Eleven is sitting in the car and a shadow is visible over her head (just take a look at 1:06 minute of the YouTube clip below). Because guess what? That shadow seems to take the shape of the Mind Flayer. And we haven't even talked about the whole situation with her powers; they have been gone since the attack of the Mind Flayer. Oh guys, all of this suddenly sounds very much like a bad deal. Eleven a villain in season 4? Please let it not be true. I’m so team Millie Bobby Brown.

Hopper is alive

In the final scene, we see a Russian base where the Russians are talking about ‘The American’ in a cell, which has kept everyone holding onto a glimmer of hope: could Jim Hopper not be dead after all? On Millie Bobby Brown's Instagram account, the proof could suddenly be there. Earlier this week, ‘Eleven’ posted a photo of her and David Harbour, aka Hopper, which fans are reacting to en masse. Does this mean Hopper is still alive?

It’s mainly the gigantic beard that fans find striking. It is thought that Hopper has grown a beard for his role in Stranger Things, which should have everything to do with not being able to shave in - yes - the Russian prison. Well... That’s not such a crazy thought, right? Unless David is a huge hipster in real life and after his ‘death’ in the series finally got to keep his old familiar beard. I’ll put on my FBI glasses for extra investigation. To be continued…
