Moet bezoeken: Moraine Lake in Canada

It seems to be a bit of a rule: the more often someone in your environment goes to a country, the less magic there is. At least for me. I've been saying for years that I'm going to Canada, really, just don't know when yet. I think it comes from the fact that my father goes ‘for work’ about four times a year and then that desire diminishes. But now friends suddenly went on a round trip through Canada and I caught myself browsing Unesco to see how often Canada actually appeared. Hold on: Canada has 17 (!) sites that are on the World Heritage List. Quite a lot, right? Of course, you have to stop by the Niagara Falls, but Banff National Park should definitely be at the top of the list. In this nature area, you will find Moraine Lake, a lake so serene that you don't want to leave but that breathtakingly contrasts with the more rugged shore. They say so, I must and will go there myself. Maybe even sooner than I planned. The park is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and it might just be the most beautiful nature area in the country. What are you waiting for? Off to Canada.
