Must visit: the northern desert

In the north? Yes, in Denmark to be geographically a bit more precise. With my three days in Copenhagen, I wanted to zoom in on what the Danes have to offer us. You quickly think of Nyhavn, which indeed calls for a visit, but also head towards Skagen, the northernmost point of Denmark. There you will encounter ‘the wandering tune Råbjerg Mile’. Actually, the dune is on the move: it shifts further northeast towards Kattegat, at about eighteen meters per year. And if you are in the area, you will want to visit the church of Saint Lawrence, buried under the sand, which is only visible to viewers by its tower.
