Must visit: the Northern Lights

northern lights, pink and green light, nature

At the very top of my list is: seeing the Northern Lights. The Aurora Borealis, sounds magical in the name itself. This natural phenomenon can be seen in Lapland, Greenland, Canada, Alaska, Iceland, and Scandinavia.

The rule is that the less light pollution you have, the better it is to see. And I also thought it would be great to spend the night in a glass igloo or an ice hotel, so you don't miss any of the spectacle. You have to make sure to go there during the Northern Lights season, which runs from late August to late April. Then the nights are dark enough to see it. The most popular time remains mid-winter for a visit. Now let's first look at some pictures and leave in the winter then. See you in Lofoten or Finnish Lapland or Canada.
