Oh oh: your colleagues think you are skipping class

The temperature is through the roof, but you're just a vacation day short to take off. Sounds familiar? Your colleagues think so, because 41 percent of working Dutch people suspect that colleagues are skipping work. We can call that a significant percentage, yes.
Now it is true that men are a bit more paranoid, because among them the percentage is 46 percent, while ‘only’ 34 percent of women are concerned about this issue. This is evident from a study by Panelwizard for Acties.nl. And what used to be heading to the terrace for a cold beer is also not appreciated, not to mention arriving late because it got a bit late last night. Thus, 55 percent of respondents are annoyed by latecomers and 47 percent are not fans of going home on time. It also comes into play that we thirty-somethings (I’m in my thirties) apparently get the most annoyed by our companions in the workplace compared to other ages. I have just one piece of advice: it’s warm, leave your colleagues alone and take those hours if you have the time. Cheers, cin cin, looking forward to gin.
