OMG: Aladdin is likely to get a sequel and this is what we hope for

So Disney, you're not really good for my blood pressure today. I was completely over the moon that Harry Styles was going to portray the handsome Prince Eric in the live action of The Little Mermaid, only to find out we were dealing with a fake news moment. Oh well, I just put One Direction on repeat. Fortunately, there was real news from Disney, and that's also very nice. Aladdin would get a sequel. And I repeat: This. Is. Not. A. Drill. After Stylesgate, I traced the source right to the front door. But this good news came from the producer of the first part himself, so I dare to cheer.
Producer Dan Lin announced to Comic Book that they are already busy brainstorming about a sequel, because according to him, it is clear that fans are waiting for part 2. Well, you are absolutely right about that. And if you've seen the ‘new’ Aladdin you know that they have made quite a few adjustments to the story here and there. They will continue that line, so it will definitely not be Aladdin: Revenge of Jafar.
Everything is still open in terms of storyline. Which means we can still fantasize about what is going to happen. I predict a bigger role for Jasmine, just like in the first part (spoiler alert!). Girlboss Jasmine even got the closing number, which was specially written for Aladdin. Well, even Disney can't ignore that anymore. Who run the world? Girls. Jasmine took the throne as we know, so I hope she still does that in part 2. And I want to see more of Rajah, the tiger. I also chuckled a lot about the handmaid, so I would love to see her back too.
What will it be? A nasty guy like Jafar trying to steal the throne again? Wanting to stage a coup? How Jasmine and Aladdin manage with running mini-me's? I suggest the movie should just be called Jasmine. Because honestly: I think everyone has developed a girl crush after the movie. Just give Harry Styles a role in this movie otherwise, and I'll be completely happy.
Let's wrap up with another fun Disney fact, about the live action of Lady and the Tramp. For that remake, they only used dogs from shelters. How nice is that? Disney, you're doing great. That should also be said sometimes.
