Riverdale pays tribute to Luke Perry
Luke Perry passed away on Monday due to the effects of his stroke, we were in shock. He played the role of Fred Andrews in the incredibly popular series Riverdale. And when such a character suddenly disappears, I always wonder: how will they resolve this in the series? Riverdale producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa says that Luke absolutely wanted the cast to resume filming the series as soon as possible. And they did, as a tribute to him.
Today the new episode of Riverdale is on Netflix in which Luke can still be seen. ‘Tonight’s episode of Riverdale finds Fred doing what he does best, helping Archie,’ writes the producer under an Instagram photo showing the whole club with Luke as the centerpiece. Riverdale is back every week on Netflix and each episode is dedicated to that dear Luke.
