Stop the presses: Mike Ross is coming back to Suits

Yesss guys, you read it right: the most fun (fraudulent) lawyer is back on TV. Patrick J. Adams shared a photo on Instagram yesterday announcing that Mike Ross is back for the very last season of Suits the show. Holy moly, if this isn't good news. From the beginning, I was totally into Suits, and my love for Harvey has never really gone away. But since Mike Ross left the series, it just was never as fun again..
And yes, the creators of the series understood that too. So I don't know how they pulled it off, but they did it. The Dream Team is being completed again. Patrick himself says: ‘I am overjoyed to be part of the last chapter of Suits. I have missed my TV family and look forward to discovering what problems my character will bring to the case this time.’ We are looking forward to it too, Patrick, we are too.
The last season of Suits will consist of ten episodes. Unfortunately, Mike will not be seen in the ten episodes (some things are just too good to be true), but he will appear halfway through the season opposite Harvey. According to the website Dateline, Patrick is even seen in the very last episode ever. I will just assume for convenience that this is the truth, because there is no better way to end Suits, right?
Well, now the big question… Will new royalty Meghan Markle also return as Rachel? Unfortunately, that seems unlikely, but it appears that several millions have been offered for a tiny guest role, but the Queen seems to be quite strict again. British royals absolutely do not appear in TV series. Pff, so old-fashioned. We just want a reunion with Mike and Rachel.
Okay, here are the last facts in a row: July 17 marks the start of the ninth and final season in the US. We still have to wait a little longer, because we are only at season 6 on Netflix, although season 7 has fortunately been announced.
