Surprise: Stranger Things comes with trailer for season 4

Surprising that Stranger Things is coming with a season 4 is anything but, because this has been a huge hit every season a mega hit. But for the sake of form, Netflix has now officially announced it and also dropped a teaser. Completely welcome and the speculation has already begun. What’s going to happen in season 4?

I only got on this Stranger Things train, but I’ve been captivated by Hawkins for about half a year now. Very silly: I thought a series with and about kids, how could that be interesting, let alone exciting?

So I’ve come back from that. It’s just a really cool series. Bring on that fourth season and bring on answers to questions like where Hopper is (one of my favorite characters, so he’s coming back, right? Right? Right?) and whether Eleven will get her powers back.

Newsflash: in the fourth season, Stranger Things is crossing borders. The borders of Hawkins, that is. “We’re not in Hawkins anymore,” is said, but… where then? That remains a mystery. I guess the Russians have something to do with this relocation. One-way ticket to Russia then, maybe? Another mystery is the release date unfortunately, although fans are busy speculating. The date seems to fall around Halloween 2020. Excuse you, Netflix, shall we just make that Halloween 2019 instead?

Another extra news item for the fans: the creators, the Duffer brothers, have made a deal with Netflix. Probably quite lucrative for them, but we are winners here too: there are more series and film projects coming from these two brothers. Yes please, keep ‘em coming.
