The 4 reasons why you want red hair today

Last week I sat in the chair of my dearest hairdresser, because that regrowth up to my ankles needed to be cleaned up. With a milk mustache from the cappuccino, I turned to the large color board that my hairdresser was holding. About fifty colored strands that I used to want to melt into my hair one by one. My love for extensions was quite large. Ice blonde or a bit peachy, those were the options for my highlights. For fun, my hairdresser held a strand of copper in front of my face and then suddenly came up with the wisdom: ‘Did you know that people with red hair become depressed less quickly?’ WHUT? I ultimately went for ice blonde but I've been doubting ever since. This is why I am quite jealous of the gingers:
1. That redheads burn more easily is no breaking news, but because of that they produce more vitamin D on their own. Look, I didn't know that. Because of that self-produced vitamin D, redheads are less depressed. Naturally, they don't need to take valium for that. What a blessing.
2. They have thicker and stronger hair than blondes and brunettes. Gingers become gray less quickly and as a bonus on the reddish firework, also less bald. Who have more fun? Well, I know by now.
3. Besides a jealous-making mane, I still need to talk about two other intensely beautiful physical traits: the freckles and the eyes. It's no coincidence that it's fashionable to have freckles tattooed on your cheeks. Everyone wishes for those sweet pigment spots on the face and the green-brown eyes that you tend to get more often when you're a redhead, to drown in, so beautiful.
4. And they have a higher pain threshold, research shows.
For everyone who normally makes those unkind ‘ginger’ comments: think twice, because they are better off.
