Lynn's Eindhoven city guide

Honestly: my hometown is not the prettiest, but it is one of the coziest cities in the Netherlands. And because you might not know where to go in Eindhoven for all those hotspots, here is Lynn to the rescue.
Six things you want to do in my little town.

Here you want to have breakfast

This is one of my go-to places when I'm in Eindhoven. At The Happiness Café, you order the most blissful kickstarters of the day. It's also a nice spot to chat for hours or just to work on your laptop for an afternoon. So, do you live around Eindhoven or are you a casual passerby? Then you know what you need to do.

Here you want to have lunch

That can also be at The Happiness Café, but you want to have some choices, so I have two other nice suggestions: Welp and Het Ketelhuis. Welp is located on the Kleine Berg, a super cozy little street in Eindhoven. And then there's Het Ketelhuis, for that you go to design village Strijp S. Thank me later.

Here you want to have dinner

Man, do we have a lot to offer you. Because dinner can actually also be at Welp and Het Ketelhuis. But make sure to write down the next three faves as well. Starting with Mood. It's known for the ‘sushi boats’ they serve there. A ship full of sushi, sashimi, and tempura shrimp. Enough said. Okay, then Giornale, which is an Italian lifestyle bar. Bellisima. And if you want to be very chic, make a reservation at VANE rooftop, the gastronomic highlight of Eindhoven.

Here you want to have drinks

For gin with a snack on the side, you go to Downtown Gourmet Market. I can be very brief about this: it's the best food market in the city. You can also have drinks at De Vooruitgang or go for cocktails at the Jazz Bar. It's located at the beginning of Stratumseind.

Here you want to go out

That bridge is quickly made. Because on Stratumseind, you just keep going, believe me. Keep an eye on the Facebook page of Bontgenoten if you have a Friday or Saturday night planned in Eindhoven. You want to be at those parties. Let's have a drink together. Cheers.

Where you want to sleep

I admit: Eindhoven doesn't win the prize for the variety of cozy boutique hotels, but we have The Student Hotel and that's really all you need. It's right in the heart of the city, close to the station. The Brabant hospitality that everyone talks about can be found here, including a cool interior. Win-win.
Have a lot of fun and send me a little photo when you're there. Bye now.
