The evidence that this was the dullest season ever of Temptation

temptation island 2019 demi and sidney, laura and roger, but really

Yes, sorry, as a fan from the very beginning, I have kept quiet for twelve weeks, you can't always peak. But I think it's time to say it. This is the most unworthy season of Temptation of all time ever. Tonight we will see en masse that just like all the previous weeks – exactly nothing – happens and then the season fades away like a sad candle. Pfff. What exactly were we annoyed about on the couch? Well, about this…

The fact that Sid is carrying this season on his own

Imagine this season without his frog rap, panic attacks in bed including hitting himself and pool chair throwing skills. I mean: not worth a damn.

No, seriously…

Where is Timtation? Where is Merijn who flips the bird at the camera and dives headfirst into Pommeline's double D? God, I miss the hysterical antics of Rosanna and lines like ‘I'm going to do dirty things with your girl, buddy.’ Oh, and the blue-white fluorescent teeth of Alex, of course. Oh, luckily we had Laura and Roger this season. Whoopie!

Speaking of those two socializers…

One goes to bed every night at half past eight ‘because tired’ and then sleeps for fourteen hours, and the other avoids all human contact. Maybe they chose the wrong program?

And by the way, those previews were tear-jerking

‘Day in day out, I do EVERYTHING for that fucking girl!’ Honestly: that line got a bit much for us at one point. It all seemed super exciting, but the fact that it actually exploded because Demi said she ‘didn't really feel like’ seeing Sidney was a bit of an anticlimax.

The so-called sex scene with Milou

Well, the production had us there for a moment, huh? And we thought there would actually be sex this season. While it was just Milou who was – quite animated – lying in bed CRYING. What a disappointment.

The outburst from Annelien

Rule 1 of life: never soil your own nest. That, eh, Annelien didn't quite get.

But well, not only the viewers were not entirely satisfied this season, the presenter was annoyed too. She opened up to Het Laatste Nieuws: ‘I feel that certain couples did not sign up to test their relationship, but to become famous,’ said the presenter. ‘For some, that was the biggest motivation. And then I think to myself: are you risking your relationship for that?’

And as if it wasn't miserable enough, the couples this year are totally not worried about cheating…

…BUT about whether the other is HAVING FUN. Stop it with me. I'm watching that finale and then immediately switching to the American Temptation for pure trash, misery, deceit, fights, and gossip.

Laaaaater!
