The three items from NYFW you can't live without right now

With Copenhagen and Berlin behind us, it's this week the streets of New York that are being flooded by the trends of the moment. And the highlights so far? Philipp Plein being scammed for a tidy one million dollars by Kanye West's manager (who turned out not to be his manager), sipping coffee with Anna Wintour, Bella Hadid, and Taylor Hill at Ralph's Cafe, and the new it bag straight from the runway. This is New York Fashion Week as if you were front row.

February 7

Ralph's Cafe

Ralph Lauren opens the doors of Ralph's Cafe for Ralph Lauren's Madison Avenue Flagship where among others Bella Hadid, Taylor Hill, Joan Smalls, and Candice Swanepoel showcase the new spring/summer collection in all-over white suits, the most beautiful dresses, and a perfect dose of golden sequins.

February 8

Jeremy Scott

Front row makes room for drag queens, including drag superstar Aquaria and makeup artist Patrick Starr, but also rapper Rich the Kid, model Coco Rocha, and singers Zara Larsson and Courtney Love. Jeremy Scott's collection is all-over black and white, where even the smallest detail has no place for color. The collection is inspired by fake news and clickbait, in collaboration with Aleksandra Mir.

February 9

Self-Portrait

From ruffles to one-shoulders and everything in between, with the favorite being the floral curtain from Dutchie Jessie Bloemendaal.

Longchamp

Front row sees Kendal Jenner, Emma Roberts, and Kate Moss for a show with platform soles, leather suits, white collars, animal prints, and bomber jackets at their coolest.

Tibi

Just because this bag has been declared the best on the runways. See for yourself why… #wishlist.

February 11

Philipp Plein

A (not so good) friend of Kanye West decides to scam Philipp Plein for over one million dollars. He pretended to be Kanye's manager and even forged his signature, resulting in an advance payment of $900,000. It was agreed that Kanye would sing three songs during Philipp Plein's show. Small detail: Kanye knew nothing about it, so you understand: it remained eerily quiet on Plein's runway.

Next stop: Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, and Boss. And then all the way to London, Milan, and Paris. CAN'T WAIT. And you understand: to be continued.
