This was THE show of Milan

Some things never change. The Chanel show is always on the last Tuesday of fashion month, and Thursday in Milan is for MaxMara. What also never changes is that Carine Roitfeld does the styling of the show and that ‘in ranks march’ is said to all the top models on duty. Doutzen, Gigi, Bella, Joan Smalls, Kaia Gerber, Candice Swanepoel all stepped into the latest of the latest, and this is what we can learn from it.

1. The brown lip is a thing

7. You are really going to wear knee socks now

I know that you (and I too, by the way) always shuddered at socks and knee socks in women's footwear, but the boarding school look is on the rise. So if you want to count a bit, wear a pump with a knee sock in it. Exposed piece of knee and then the rest. Just do it once.

8. Max Mara has a headscarf

With dots. And I think that's a good thing. Not the dots per se, but the headscarf.

9. The MM-20 T-shirts

That the models wore backstage. Lil and I are completely in love with them, but they are from the current collection. Good news; already for sale.
