I have something strange. In November, I always know exactly what I want, but as Christmas approaches, I've forgotten it all. That's why I'm making my wish list public NOW so everyone knows what they can give me. And maybe I'll inspire you too because I have an intensely fun gift on my wish list that you probably want as well. It's called a scent journey (also known as a perfume fitting) from the perfume house Otentic.

I've told you about Otentic before it's a perfume house from Grasse (which is to perfumes what LA is to the film world) where the eighth generation of perfumers is now at the helm. Their philosophy is that they don't want to waste money on expensive campaigns and on developing a different bottle every time. The scent is what it's all about after all, and each one (there are 73) is a work of art. One is a complex interplay of various ingredients, the pure collection consists of a single ingredient (I'm in love with Lily of the Valley). During their scent journey, you go through all the scent areas and see which perfume best suits who you are and your skin.

You can experience the journey in the store (which is located in Amstelveen and in Haarlem) completely voluntarily. But I'm sure you'll find your perfume (or maybe even more) there. There's just too much beauty.

Tip: Give it as a gift to a loved one in your surroundings. You can visit the store together and go on a scent journey together, giving the other such a beautiful perfume.
