Trufflemania: 6 products you MUST know as a truffle lover

You don't understand anything at all or you get a spontaneous error just hearing the word: truffle. The luxurious flavor enhancer of Italian cuisine. The black gold. The showpiece of Mother Nature. Oh dear, when I get a menu in my hands and it has something with truffle on it, I already know I don't need to look any further. That dish please and thank you. Are you also team truffelicous? These are the combos you want to know.
1. Truffle. Fucking. Pasta.
The mother of truffle dishes. Available in the better restaurants or if you're lucky just at home if you've managed to get a fresh truffle. You don't need much else. Make sure your pasta is fresher than fresh.
2. Philadelphia with truffle flavor
This means the beginning of the end. Not just on every cracker, but on every banana, rusk, chocolate pepernoot, whatever is now smeared with truffle-Phillie, right, you get that. Pure whipped truffle flavor in a tub of cheese. A centuries-long culinary wish fulfilled.
3. Olive oil
And yes, preferably flavored with white truffle. It also pairs perfectly with number 1 on the list. Also incredibly delicious over salad or grilled vegetables.
4. Truffelicious tapenade
Fresh truffle, you get that. And then on a toast? Naaaaaah. You pay four hundred eighty euros fifty per tub for it, but hey, your taste buds will spontaneously breakdance so it’s worth it. (Which visual thinkers now see a tongue with all sorts of little figures in the shape of taste buds doing Dancing with the Stars?)
5. Truffle cheese
