Two more reasons why I want to go to Disneyland Paris now

Disneyland Paris
I was seven years old. White-blonde curls, probably a dress with ruffles, blue eyes behind a cardboard box of salty popcorn. I wasn't really into sweet things back then. With my big brother, best friend, and her little brother, I went to the cinema for the first time, it was The Lion King. This is where my career in crying hard at movies begins. So it must be that Disneyland Paris for the very first time brings The Lion King to life. I mean: dancing with Timon and Pumbaa, I have to go there.

Little confession: in my thirty-two years, I have never been to Disneyland Paris. I am now at the point where I can get jealous of my best friend's three-year-old son, who is going soon. I love Disney, I might even be a little nostalgically in love with it. They also give me two extra reasons to drive very fast (at the maximum allowed speed of course) to Paris. Because not only does The Lion King get a show, Jungle Book is also live to see at The Lion King & Jungle Festival.

The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands can be seen at the Frontierland Theater. With Timon, with Pumba, with Simba, with Nala and the gang of course. Sing along loudly with The Circle of Life, marvel at impressive costumes, sway along with the gigantic choreography. For Jungle Book, you need to be at the Sleeping Beauty Castle, which lends its Central Plaza to Baloo and King Louie, and who knows, Mickey might show up too. In Disneyland Paris, anything can happen.

You have until September 22, 2019, to see The Lion King & Jungle Festival. I'll see you there, with Timon and Pumbaa, let's do an extra dance.
