
I remember it so well. When I still lived at home, I looked at my mother with a disgusted face when she told me she had gotten up at 08:00 on a Saturday morning. ‘Huh? But that's practically in the middle of the night, crazy!’, the rebellious teenager in me had shouted. But now. Part of growing up. Sometimes I set the alarm for eight o'clock myself. And then I go ‘enjoyably’ exercising. Because I've really come to enjoy it, yes, I still have to get used to the idea a bit. The nice thing about exercising in the morning is that the rest of your day will immediately look very different. I suddenly burst with energy, clean the whole house, jump in the shower, and feel like whipping up elaborate breakfasts. So today it's time for my favorite little gem. You take 250 grams of almond milk, 40 grams of oatmeal, banana slices, a teaspoon of cinnamon, and top it off with some peanut butter or almond butter. A party in your mouth. Hours satisfied.
