moet & chandon champagne cake from Van Wely

Actually, it's a bit of a bummer because I gave away a cake that I would have preferred to eat myself. Do you know that advertisement from BladCadeau? Where those people ring the doorbell at a party half-dressed? Well, that's what I actually wanted to do with the cake in question, but I had nothing alternative to wrap it in, so the Moët & Chandon (!) cake from Van Wely went home with Franska (you know, from our big sister Franska.nl). She definitely saw how I looked. She even suggested sharing it, but being well-mannered as I am, I of course said no. Or maybe I said that I wouldn't turn down a bite, but that wasn't really said very loudly. Another colleague even went on to say how light it was, with that hint of Moët in it, and I almost let the cake disappear. But here I am, without cake, I think there's only one solution: to Van Wely for my own copy. By the way, it really is the best gift to give, beautifully wrapped in Moët & Chandon packaging and ultra-luxurious to look at. I just think it's wise to first taste it myself once. *Searches for Van Wely's address on Google Maps.
