Mascara is just like nail polish, it has to meet quite a few different requirements. Brush and applicator, ease of application, but certainly also ease of removal. I have mascaras that look like I've undergone six eyelash extensions, they are that full. But to take them off you need a hatchet. I had my favorites that I was loyal to: those from Sisley and Le Volume from Chanel. But recently I received a mascara from Burberry as a gift on a press trip for Coty (the company where all kinds of amazing products come from like the sun products from Lancaster and the fragrances from Gucci, Chloé, and Marc Jacobs) and it is quite a gem. The brush is completely shaped like your eyelid, so with one movement you catch all the little hairs. Furthermore, it doesn't clump, gives your eyes a nice lift (no eyelash curler needed, not that I ever use one, really no time for that) and you can also easily remove it.
So Sisley and Chanel, make some room in the makeup bag, you have a new friend.
