That you pour the wine and that it is exactly at the right temperature that you let out a sigh: I have experienced it sometimes, but not at home. My fridge is set to ‘everything stays so nicely cold‘. But those problems are over from now on.
To refresh our wine knowledge: a red wine is served at room temperature. Now you and I might heat it up to a pleasant 21 degrees, but we need to correct that. A bottle of red is perfect when served around 18 degrees. A bottle of white, the complex kind we love so much, varies between 12 and 16. And a sparkling wine is enjoyed at a temperature between 6 and 10. To make it easy for yourself, run (or surf) now towards Lidl and buy a wine cooler. You never have to take it out of the fridge earlier to cool down or sit with a blanket on the couch because the heating has to stay at a home temperature of 18 degrees. It's a bargain among wine coolers.
