So every now and then we sneak away for a bit. ‘We’ are Daniëlle, my sales director, and I. Occasionally we want to disconnect from the world. Making plans, checking the harvest, watering the plants, those kinds of things. Of course, that can really be done in our office, but there is the hustle and bustle, the coziness.

That's why we sometimes look for a different place. Tranquility, inspiration. Yesterday we found that in the Apollo hotel, a hidden gem in Amsterdam-Zuid. I hopped from the terrace (in the sun, by the water) to ‘the living room’ to the restaurant. There, wine was waiting (a glass, okay: two), the best bread, eggplant I had dreamed of, and a view you want to have as a painting. Bodon, in short, we will be back. And sooner than you think.
