today we drive Renault

In September and October, I was quite comfortable; I went from a Greek island to Malta, where the temperature rose well above 20 degrees and sometimes even 30. So you can imagine what this Dutch cold air does to me, it chills me to the bone. Now I am blessed with a warming layer on my body, but in preparation for an (even colder) winter, I am taking measures. For example, in the evening, a pair of slippers is ready (in the editorial office, they disrespectfully call them ’bordeelschuivers'), so I no longer have cold feet. The sweaters go one shelf lower in the closet because you can only have them within reach. And when I did a lap around the ring in our orange TWINGO I discovered a feature that is going to make me completely winter-ready: seat heating. I have never stepped out of the car with such wonderfully warm buttocks. Ideally, I would like to have my lunch in our orange Renault TWINGO just to warm them up a bit in between, with the risk that everyone will find me a bit unsociable in the editorial office. Oh, this is going to be a divine warm winter.
