Today we send, or well, maybe not today, but anyway towards Christmas: Boomf, the funniest postcards ever. Why are these cards so genius? I'm going to tell you. It all started on Instagram where I suddenly stumbled upon the Boomf account. As flat as an envelope, the cards come through your mailbox, nothing special you might think. But it is, because the moment you take the card out of the envelope, the flat postcard transforms into a ‘Boomf-Bomb’, or a cube including confetti, that jumps over a meter into the air as a surprise. Boomf Bomb themes you can choose from include birthdays, love, friendship, wedding, anniversary, thank yous, and now also Christmas. Once you've chosen your theme, the idea is to personalize your cube with quotes, text, photos, and confetti (read: Christmas trees, hearts, stars, and lots of fun colors) of your choice. I say: done with those copy-paste wishes on WhatsApp, this year we're going to send old-school cards via Pieter Post again.
