Hiha, I have my ‘Keep Off’ rug. I had been eyeing it for a while. That one rug from Ikea. You know, the one from that cool collaboration. Which I *pardon my French* was not drawn for the pre-shopping night. Bummer. Bummer. Sometimes I forgot about it for a moment, but then I saw it again on Pinterest or Instagram and immediately fell head over heels in love with it again. Until.... The too cool ‘Keep Off‘ rug from Ikea X Virgil Abloh was on Marktplaats. New in the packaging, because of course the seller didn't want this rug at all, but patiently waited for victims like me. I raced over to him this weekend, paid more than he paid for it (but hey, buying and selling is just his sport) and now I'm sitting on the ground with my rose-colored glasses on. On yes: my dream rug. Just had to share this. And definitely a case of love for Marktplaats. I say: never give up, especially keep saving and forever scrolling, then we'll get there.
