Who works, must eat, right? I have a tip for you if you find yourself somewhere in the south of Amsterdam. Around the corner from us, you have Mama’s, which is under the same roof as Hotel Jansen. And honestly, you won't work anywhere more comfortably than there. There are definitely a hundred power points per table, there's always water ready for you, and no one looks you away from the table if you sit there for more than an hour. My ideal day starts around a quarter past eight at Mama’s (they open nice and early too), a morning of making good progress (read: paragraphs) with the help of quite a few double espressos, and then between twelve and one, ordering a good shakshuka with perhaps a nice glass of white, because that is ridiculously good. Where you need to be? At Valschermkade 19, at our place in ’t Schinkel. See you there.
