What you think when you finish season 3 of The Crown

The crown series

After your first intense and overwhelming emotion (huh, already?) the thoughts about season three really start to flow. By the way, I would like to ask Netflix to pop up some sort of warning when you are at the last episode of a season, because I suddenly finished and now feel empty. But back to the Queen and her entourage, because we need to talk about this season. Huge spoiler alert, so click away now if you haven't finished the season yet.

1. Where was Diana? You cunning creators of the series, I was counting on an endearing, sweet Lady Di to shake things up at Buckingham Palace.

2. Margaret is Margaret, with her ample alcoholic refreshments, misfortunes in love, and tendency to wallow, but it becomes clear how important she is to Elizabeth and that is very pure and very sweet. Could it be so?

3. Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise Mountbatten-Windsor actually rocks quite a bit, especially when she affectionately scolds brother Charles and acts all stubborn towards her father.

4. So Anne did it with Camilla's former husband? Okay, okay, this is juicy, boys and girls. Have the girls ever discussed him after a few glasses of wine? By the way, he was a notorious cheater and married his mistress after his divorce from Camilla.

5. Would the royals watch this? I really, really want to know for sure.

6. Camilla's last name is not Parker Bowles, but Shand. And that actually suits her much better. I also immediately googled whether she used to resemble her interpreter Emerald Fennell a bit, but aside from the haircut, not really, or am I missing something?

7. Actually, the whole season revolves around the feelings of the members of the royal family and how those feelings are brutally crushed, because feeling something is not meant for the royals.

8. Charles is much more endearing than I thought and suddenly I doubt whether he might actually take the throne or if he will be the first to decline the honor.

9. It says something about Queen Elizabeth that even the anti-monarch Prime Minister Wilson develops such affection for the throne and how she gives him the honor of a dinner at Downing Street.

10. Suddenly it seems that every family member is also destined for someone else. Charles for Camilla. Margaret for Peter Townsend? Elizabeth perhaps for Porchey?

11. When, when will season four come?
