With the little one on the way, Carolien is about to twin

My good resolution lately: to take food/snacks with me more often. I was really shocked when I saw how much I spend per month on a juice here and a lunch or snack there. Especially now that I have to eat something every hour and a half during my pregnancy (I've almost fainted twice, not okay...) it's a must to always have something in my bag for snacks. I was tipped off on Instagram about the cool take-away containers from Boho Tiffin: how could I not have discovered this earlier? I ordered a set on the site like crazy and emailed if I could mix the prints of the containers in one set and voilà: that's how the idea for a collaboration was born. I am extremely proud of this limited edition Tiffin X Carolien, which is exclusively available throughout September. You can already pre-order it via boho-tiffin.com. Oh yes, you get this leopard strap as a gift. Very curious to hear what you think of it.

‘Watching horses?’ Otis couldn't stop talking about it. Last weekend, the Longines FEI European Championships took place and I had the honor of interviewing a number of very famous horse riders. And with Otis being an extreme fan of horses, this was the perfect combination of work and pleasure. While enjoying a delicious lunch on the Longines VIP deck, we had royal spots with a view of the horses, which Otis could cheer for loudly. Who knows, in fifteen years we might be standing by the sidelines cheering for Otis during the youth championships.

Now I have already gathered quite a wardrobe for Otis and now that we are expecting another boy, I am very happy that I have saved a lot. But I can't wait to grab a few cool ‘twinning’ sets for the boys. Otis already has some amazing items from House of Jamie hanging in his closet, but seeing this new collection, I couldn't help but grab these two sets already. I can already cry at the thought of them wearing this as a set...

Every time I am shocked again by the amount of laundry I throw into the drum daily, let alone what the volume will be when we are a family of four. For a while now, I have been looking for ecological laundry detergent, but all attempts so far have not produced that wonderfully scented laundry. In particular, Jon is quite particular about wonderfully fragrant laundry. Recently, I received a sample from Seepje: natural detergents based on the Sapindus mukorossi fruit from Nepal. The shells of these fruits contain a natural form of soap, called saponin. A lot more responsible for the environment, in short: this sounds like a top product. But now came the real test: does the clothing smell nice after a wash? They have added ten milliliters of organic essential oil to the liquid detergents. The big test came when Jon pulled his shirt from the closet and immediately smelled it: ‘Nice scent, love, do we have a new detergent?’ Mission accomplished. I immediately ordered a whole stock online.
