Brian discovers Amanda in bed with Huub
The legendary words. Brian: ‘Are you f**king her?’ Huub: ‘Do you have a problem with that?’ Brian: ‘Yeah, quite a bit.’ After which Brian completely loses it, grabs the phone, and calls the editorial office to say he is ready ‘to commit suicide’ while Huub is still hitting him in the face and Natasia is screaming around. My god, do you mean this? Almost forgot that De Gouden Kooi was such a crazy program.
Palma has a fight part 234
Do I need to remind you of Palma? The cleaning lady with a voice as if she smokes 80 cigarettes from Van Nelle a day? Actually, as the ‘head’ of the household, she did nothing but argue. I still think she is an actress, actually. In the scene below, she tries to ‘fire’ one of the cleaning ladies of the house. It doesn’t go very well.
And then there’s the scene where Lieke is bullied and colleagues want to take off her clothes
‘Unclip her bra!’ screams a hysterical Natasia. Just to be clear: this program aired at half past seven every day and someone is basically being assaulted here. Small side note: Lieke was stripped of her clothes because the residents wanted to take revenge on her and Huub. They wanted to throw Lieke in the pond, but her transmitter (expensive stuff) was in her bra, hence it had to come off. Ah yes. No, all very normal. The assault on Lieke was one of the few times the security in the house intervened. Guys, this just can’t be?
