5 absurd consequences of a phone addiction

The dependency on my phone varies from week to week. One weekend I scroll and swipe and app my way from breakfast through lunch to the evening. The other it lies untouched for at least a day on the shelf next to the toilet (I'm just being honest about where I often forget it). The funny thing is that I find myself more annoying with the shelf than without, so why do you do it, you ask yourself. Because we are a bit addicted.
If you now shout very loudly that you are not, then I am happy for you, because such a phone addiction has quite bizarre consequences. Besides the WhatsApp finger and the fact that you literally see less well in the distance because of staring at your screen, there are some disturbing effects.
1. Nomophobia
Literally becoming scared and anxious because you don't have your phone with you. Yes guys, it’s a scary world out there, without connection.
2. Blurring
The boundary between your private life and work blurs, because you have access to everything everywhere. Which is not (I repeat: not) good for your health.
3. Info-obesity
You can no longer distinguish between news that is relevant and not important. Aiii.
4. Switchtasking
We were always content with our multitasking skills, but switchtasking makes you less happy. It simply means that you lose all focus and also productivity by constantly switching.
5. Phubbing
Ooh, this is fatal for almost all your relationships. Paying more attention to your phone than to your conversation partner.
