7 tips to earn 40,000 euros

The corona period has as one of the many consequences that many people are putting their house up for sale. I see it around me. Neighbors whose children are almost out of the house and no longer need the space do not want to wait for a potential crisis. Sell that stuff, rent something, and then later when the market normalizes a bit, buy something smaller.
If you want to do business quickly and get the best price for your house, it is advisable to roll up your sleeves, because these tips can easily earn you a considerable amount.
1. Clean up, clean up, clean up
It must be clean and tidy and as empty as possible. Try to make a hotel out of your house.
2. Remove personal items
The prospective buyer must be able to see themselves in your house. If there are photos of you and your family hanging everywhere and your children's crafts are stuck to the wall, someone will feel like they are in someone else's house. It must become that other person's.
3. Make sure it smells nice
The well-known apple pie trick (the smell of apple pie would stimulate the urge to buy the house) is now so widely known that I would find it a bit too transparent if you were standing there with your apple pie, but just a nice fragrance spray from Rituals or that lovely one from Skins (a small investment, that’s true) helps too. Air out all the rooms so that there is no musty mist hanging in your bedroom.
4. Tidy your garden
The house of my neighbors is going up for sale, and that was immediately the signal for me to also clear my little sidewalk of weeds. That undoubtedly helps. So if it’s a mess at the neighbors, ask if you can also take care of their garden.
5. Paint a wall
A friend of mine is a master at making her houses ready for sale. She calmly paints three rooms and the kitchen in the color that is currently in vogue. With results, because she always sells her houses (there have been three since I’ve known her) in a breeze and for a great price.
6. Don’t do too much
Installing a new kitchen or bathroom makes little sense. The chance that it is exactly the bathroom or kitchen that the buyer has in mind is small, so you probably won’t get that investment back because the buyer will replace it anyway.
7. Prune
I know the incredible story of a girl who bought a house from an old man who had smoked three packs a day for forty years in his downstairs apartment and had let the ivy grow wild. She bought the house, pruned the ivy, painted the walls white, and cleaned the kitchen. Someone came by who was interested, and she sold it for 40,000 euros more.
I mean.
Good luck!
