Bizarre: you can eavesdrop on other people with Apple AirPods

Some have long known about the eavesdropping practices of those clever AirPods, but other simple souls of life (like me, hohoooi) just heard about this life hack and think: holy cow. How it works: if you have AirPods, you can apparently press the ‘ear icon’ on the ‘Live Listen’ button. This suddenly makes your earbuds perfect Inspector Gadget material, because as soon as you have the live function turned on, you can hear everything happening in the room where your phone is still lying. Just to clarify: you can easily eavesdrop on your friends, colleagues, parents, whoever or whatever if you’re curious about their conversations. But the reverse applies: they can eavesdrop on you too, of course. Do with it what you want, but choose very wisely because before you know it, you have a fight. I, um, don’t have AirPods by the way. I also prefer to assume the best in people. Naive? No way, just full of trust. Nice and easy too. Creepy as hell, this!
