Is the kitchen table your home office domain or are you wedged between the wardrobe and the bed? Every week we look behind the front door to see what your home office looks like. This week we would like to swap with Bente.

Name: Bente Scholten (27)
Location: At my dining table in the Jordaan
Work: Marketing and event manager at ByDanie
Lunch: Everything they sell at the Noordermarkt: from salads, vegetables, fruit, and the filet americain from JWO on a spelt cracker.
Company: Me, myself and I and my colleagues on WhatsApp.
Essential: Nice music and candles.

Tip I: Before you start working, go for a run or at least go outside.
Tip II: Put on some nice music.
Tip III: Don't forget to light some candles.
Tip IIII: Wear clothes that are comfortable but also look nice. And don't forget to do your hair and makeup, then you'll feel better too.

Annoying: I need to charge my laptop since the outlet is not near my table.

Pros
+ You can really get into it: before you know it, it's already three o'clock and you still need to have breakfast.
+ You are not distracted.
+ You are much more productive.

Cons
– The coziness, I especially miss my colleagues.
