Chip happens: Ben & Jerry’s has a new flavor

Sometimes my craving for sweet and salty gets mixed up. While there is normally a clear boundary, I am of the savory kind. Although I often make an exception for ice cream, maybe that's why I get so excited about the new flavor from Ben & Jerry’s. It once again has something to do with Netflix, as they are launching a new cooking show and this time the ice cream is called Chip Happens.

Just for the name, I would already want to try this ice cream, but I have a vague suspicion that this version will please me anyway. In the cup, you find incredibly delicious ice cream (because come on, it's from B&J), but also chips. Huh? Yes, the daredevils at the ice cream manufacturer saw a match between the two. Or someone at the Netflix cooking show was a genius, because it's called Nailed It! and maybe that person just accidentally put some salty chips between the scoops of ice cream.

I give it a chance, because initially I also laughed at the idea of caramel sea salt chocolate and look at me now: a devoted fan. We still have to wait a bit, because the flavor is available in America and will soon come to the UK. But we will surely be rewarded soon.
