Finally play in your own Titanic with Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo Dicaprio Titanic Kate Winslet

‘I’ll never let go Jack, I’ll never let gooooo…’ I think I can fully quote Titanic. ‘If you jump, I jump, remember?’ I’m not ashamed of anything. It remains a wonderful movie. And every time guaranteed crying. But especially every time thinking: Damn, ROSE. That door is definitely big enough for both of you. Rude child. Now Leo is dead. Great. Thanks for nothing. You can tell that this anger still runs deep. RIP Jack Dawson #foreverinmyheart.

But anyway, Titanic came out in 1999 which means I was ten years old and that also means I was daydreaming about the unparalleled handsomeness that was Leonardo DiCaprio. Maybe he was my very first real crush. Clearly, I always stuck to guys who were nicely within my reach, because at eight I was obsessed with Aaron Carter. Anyway, I wanted to be Rose. And now, almost 21 years later I can be Rose. Say Hallelujah.

Maybe not really Rose, but I can snag a role in Leo's new movie. You can too, by the way. Everyone has a chance. Say what? Leo posted a video on his Instagram where he is seen with Robert DeNiro: they are going to star together in the film Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese. And to support the good cause All In Challenge they are offering big fans a chance to snag a role. Then you get to hang out with them on set for a day AND go to the premiere.

I explicitly mention that it’s big fans, and particularly fans with a big bank account. Because the battle between the fans goes as follows: you have to donate an amount on the website and the highest amount wins. You understand that I’m busy setting up a GoFundMe called Help Wieke Get to Leo DiCaprio. Donations are greatly appreciated.

It's also good for your karma points, by the way, because 100 percent of the proceeds go to the good cause, which supports families who have no money for food due to the corona crisis. Hugging Leo (I’m just going to assume it’s about his love interest in the movie, let me) and doing a good deed: very good plan.
