HA: from now on you can video call with 8 (!) people on WhatsApp

Well, what do you do with WhatsApp when you find out that your video calling service is actually a little bit behind the times? That everyone is massively meeting via Zoom? Oh simple, then you just increase the capacity of video callers-in-one-call, right? Allow double the number of people? Alright. They haven't been idle at WhatsApp. With the latest update, video calling with 8 people becomes possible. Yes, that's ‘coincidentally’ just as many as the suddenly popular video calling program Houseparty. Ha. Although you can still talk to 32 people at the same time on FaceTime, 50 on Skype, and 100 on Zoom. But hey, WhatsApp. It's a start. Yay.
